With the release of their new single ‘Daily Mail’ Edinburgh based post-gutter-skunk-funk outfit Bikini Body have brought their unique upstart sound straight to the tabloids. Embodying the kind of energy that makes you want to kick a bin over, then apologise and pick it back up.

Developing upon what they started with their 2020 EP Pond Life, a well received release they never had the opportunity to tour due to lockdown, Bikini Body have used the abundance of free time to develop their sound and it shows. Combining razor sharp lyrics with spiky guitar riffs and an angry woman shouting with a funky bass line, ‘Daily Mail’ is an ode to online curtain twitchers everywhere.

Recorded at the Glasgow staple Chime Studios (Kaputt, United Fruit, Callum Easter, Current Affairs) ‘Daily Mail’ draws inspiration from showbiz columns, ESG, the movies of Mike Myers, Squid and Delta 5.
